WVUA-FM is proud to announce the return of live Alabama Soccer coverage to its lineup this fall. 90.7, the Capstone Sports Authority, will broadcast nine soccer matches live over the airwaves this season with an additional two matches available online.

WVUA Sports staff members Josh Zavadil and Colin Cavoto will bring the action to Crimson Tide fans this season. Zavadil will serve as the play-by-play announcer for the crew, while Cavoto will bring his soccer expertise to the air with color commentary.

“We’re very excited to bring soccer back on the air this year,” WVUA-FM Sports Director Chad Haynie said. “Coach Bramble is building a championship program at Alabama and we look forward to providing live coverage for Tide fans this year both in Tuscaloosa and across the country online.”

All matches broadcast will be available for free online with the station’s internet stream, available at http://wvuafm.ua.edu.

Interviews from student-athletes and coaches may also be heard on the station’s new weekly recap show “Crimson Tide Rewind” that will air Sundays from 4 – 5 p.m. beginning later this month.

WVUA-FM, the Voice of the University of Alabama, is UA’s student-run radio station. The station provides exclusive coverage of Crimson Tide gymnastics, soccer, softball and volleyball and airs the most original sports programming in Tuscaloosa.
