Justin Bieber is back with another great album! All of the “Beliebers,” myself included, are way too excited about this one. That being said, if you do not consider yourself a part of this loyal group, Justice should still be first on your list of new music! Justice is Bieber’s sixth studio album, which is made up of sixteen tracks. In addition to this release on March 19, 2021, Bieber surprised his fans a week later with Justice (Triple Chucks Deluxe), the deluxe version of this album containing six new tracks.

Throughout Bieber’s twenty-two new songs, he has a variety of featured guests including Khalid, Lil Uzi Vert, Tori Kelly, benny blanco, Chance the Rapper, Quavo, and numerous other well-known artists. Bieber did a phenomenal job of highlighting a wide range of genres and moods within Justice. Whether you are looking for a slow love song, an upbeat party song, some R&B energy, or a classic Bieber pop song, this album will have exactly what you want.

Even though I could listen to every song on this album on repeat, there a few that stood out to me the most. My three current favorites are “Off My Face,” “Name (feat. Tori Kelly),” and “As I Am (feat. Khalid).” That being said, ask me again in a couple of weeks and I will likely have a totally different selection of favorite songs off of Justice.

First, “Off My Face” is a love song with a beautiful, soft melody. Written about his wife, Hailey Bieber, Bieber sings about the indescribable, life changing love that she has brought into his life. This catchy and smooth track will make you smile, cry, and feel a little too jealous of their relationship.

Next, “Name (feat. Tori Kelly)” is easily one of my favorite songs of all time, let alone on this album. Who knew Bieber’s vocals would flow so perfectly with those of twenty-eight-year-old singer-songwriter, Tori Kelly? “Name” is a gentle, heartbreaking, and captivating ballad and duet. It is sung to that past love that is with someone new, as you wish for them to come back to you once the high of their new love fades away. Bieber and Kelly do an incredible job of connecting the emotions in the written lyrics with that of the music and melody. You can truly feel their emotions in every word they sing.

My third current favorite, “As I Am (feat. Khalid)” brings a much more upbeat energy to the table – especially compared to those last two tracks! “As I Am” begins slow and builds momentum up to the chorus, where it reaches the perfect beat and rhythm. This track was also written by Bieber about his wife, and it is all about feeling worthy of love and being committed to being your best self. In an interview with Vogue, Bieber explained that the lyrics “take me as I am, swear I’ll do the best I can” were written about “that commitment that I personally made to my wife. I’m here through thick and thin – this is me, take it or leave it.” Whether you are in a relationship or not, I believe that the hopeful message in this song is important for everyone to hear. It is a declaration of self-love, commitment, and being unapologetically yourself.

Now that you know a few of my favorites, it is time to go give Justice a try and discover yours. Like I said, Justice is an album that will have exactly what you want, whether you expected it to or not.
