Monday would not be complete without the full list of the Alabama coaching staff’s selections for Players of the Week for the preceding game, this time the 48-7 road win over the Kentucky Wildcats.

Offense

Offensive lineman Arie Kouandjio: Kouandjio started on an offensive line that cleared the way for 668 yards of total offense, the most an Alabama team has compiled since the 833-yard outburst Alabama had against Virginia Tech in 1973.

Wide receiver Kevin Norwood: Norwood led all receivers (eight different pass catchers) with 81 yards on four catches, one of them for 20 yards and a touchdown.

Offensive lineman Anthony Steen: Steen was named the Southeastern Conference Offensive Lineman of the Week.

Defense

Linebacker C.J. Mosley: Mosley continues the streak, being named a Player of the Week every week this season, after leading the team in tackles (again) with seven.

Defensive lineman A’Shawn Robinson: The true freshman was second on the team in tackles with six, including two sacks. Robinson now ranks in a tie for 5th in the SEC with four sacks.

Special Teams

Cade Foster: Foster opened scoring for the game, connecting on a 25-yard attempt early in the second quarter and went on to make two field goals, six extra points and earn four touchbacks on eight kickoffs.

Altee Tenpenny: Tenpenny notched three tackles as a part of special teams units, also running the ball five times for 21 yards and a touchdown.

DeAndrew White: White caught four passes for 80 yards in addition to playing on the punt, punt return, kick and kick return units.

Christion Jones: Jones returned three punts for 52 yards in addition to returning two kickoffs for 49 yards. Jones ended the day with 138 all-purpose yards (14 rushing, 23 receiving and 101 return yards.
