After a long 2 years, the pop-rock band, Fitz and The Tantrums released their fourth debut album All The Feels on September 20, 2019. The 6 member band led by Michael Fitzpatrick released a statement previous to releasing the album giving insight for the overall message of All The Feel saying “So many highs and lows this last year, but we’ll make it through together” aiming for more of a positive outlook on life regardless of the rough times especially considering Fitzpatrick had been recently recovering from open-heart surgery. The album consists of 17 songs totaling 52 minutes of catchy uplifting music, which is the most amount of songs on an album the band has released.

Before releasing the album the band released several songs such as “123456,” “All the Feels,” and “I Just Wanna Shine.” The band is aiming for each and every song on the album to come together and really capture every single emotion possible, essentially covering “all the feels” someone incurs, although the album consists of mostly positive vibes which are never a bad thing, I don’t think the band necessarily advertised fully, but they are commonly known for their upbeat music.  Although the album does contain songs that are not as upbeat and were hoped to motivate listeners in different aspects of their lives whether it is struggling to accept themselves, feeling as if they are alone and need someone to talk to, or being in awe with a new crush with tracks such as “Aint Nobody But Me,” “I Need Help” and “SuperMagik.”

Personally, I do believe the album is good although comparing it to their previous projects I am a firm believer that the bands 2013 album, More Than Just A Dream his probably one of their best albums which include hit tracks such as “Out of My League” and “The Walker” as well as other tracks that have been featured in over 10 shows, movies, and video games such as Law & Order SVU, Greys Anatomy, Identity Theif, and the FIFA 2013 Soundtrack.

Although, All The Feels is not Fitz and The Tantrums best album overtime people may learn to love it more over time. Nonetheless, you can not take away the credit that is due to the overall production of the album. Fitz and The Tantrums never fail to release beats that have that head bobbing effect. They always seem to produce a very catchy beat that is definitely perfect for catchy background music.

Overall I believe this album is a 7/10 tell us what you think! All The Feels by Fitz and The Tantrums is streaming now on AppleMusic and Spotify.
