 1st Quarter

>Ole Miss receives the ball at Alabama’s 39yard line

Scoring drive- 5 plays ,10 yards, 1:43 Ole Miss 3 Alabama 0

After a first down run by Bo Wallace, Ole Miss fails to convert for another first down, Ole Miss kicks 46 yard field goal by Gary Wonderlund to putOle Miss up 3 to noghing over the Tide

>Alabama to begin drive at their own 41 yard line

After a first down run by TJ Yeldon, and a first down pass to tight end Brian Vogler, Alabama is stopped at a 48 yard field goal. But Adam Griffith misses the kick giving Ole Miss the lead, 3-0.

 

>Ole Miss to begin drive at their own 29 yard line

After a pass by Bo Wallace to Itavius Mathers for a first down, Ole Miss continues to press down the field leading toward 3 more first downs. In the end, Ole Miss is stopped by the Alabama defense holding them to another field goal by Gary Wunderlauch. But he ends up miss giving Alabama the ball at their own 29 yard lie.

 

>Alabama to begin the drive from their own 21 yard line  

After a 12 yard gain by Tight End OJ Howard, Blake Sims and Alabama are stopped on a three and out forcing JK Scott out to punt and Alabama’s defense to come back out on the field.

>Ole Miss to begin drive from their own 20 yard line

After a penalty by Ole Miss, Alabama is able to stop the Rebels in their own territory on a 3 and out, forcing Ole Miss’ Will Gleason to punt

Derrick Henry is stopped for a loss as the quarter come to an end. Ole Miss leads 3-0.

 

2ND QUARTER

>Alabama to begin drive from their own 33 yard line

after a first don pass to Kenyan Drake, he is carted off the field holding his foot. After that, Blake Sims still cannot find his rhythm as they are stopped once again to another 3 and out JK Scott to punt.

 

> Ole Miss to begin drive from their own 30 yard line

After a first down to Laquon Treadwell, Bo Wallace cannot find any answers as DJ Pettway sacks him as well as gets a swat on the ball. Ole Miss is forced to punt

 

>Alabama to begin drive from their own 23 yard line 

Blake Sims is finally able to make a first down pass to Chris Black, but unfortunately the Rebels stop the Tide once again making JK Scott come out to punt.

 

>Ole Miss to begin drive from their own 16 yard line

After a first down pass to Cody Core, Ole Miss is stopped  by the Alabama defense forcing the Rebels to punt.

 

> Alabama to begin drive from their own 32 yard line

Scoring Drive- (12 plays, 68 yards, 3:27)- Alabama 7, Ole Miss- 3

After 3 consecutive first downs by Blake Sims to Amari Cooper, TJ Yeldon forces Alabama into the red zone for the Tide. From their Alabama is stopped on 3rd down and deicde to go for it. On a carry to the outside Blake Sims finds his way to the end zone. Adam Griffith nails the PAT

 

>Ole Miss to begin drive from their own 44 yard line

After a nice return, Alabama’s defense stops Bo Wallace and the Rebels with 2 sacks and a blocked pass, Ole Miss is forced to punt on a 3 and out.

 

>Alabama to begin drive from their own 25 yard line

After 3 continuous runs by Derrick Henry, Ole Miss holds back Alabama to a punt by JK Scott.

 

>Ole Miss to begin drive from their own 19 yard line

Scoring drive, 1 play 19 yards, :15 seconds- Alabama 14, Ole Miss-3

After a fumble by Jaylen Watkins, Cyrus Jones coops the ball for an Alabama touchdown. Adam Griffith nails the PAT

 

>Ole Miss to begin drive from their own 30 yard line

After an incomplete pass by Bo Wallace, the Rebels decide to run out the clock heading into halftime

 

HALFTIME- ALABAMA- 14, OLE MISS- 3

 

3RD QUARTER

 

>Alabama will receive ball to start the 2nd half 

 

>Alabama to start drive from their own 25 yard line

After a first down push by Blake Sims, TJ Yeldon has a pair of first downs setting up a big run for Derrick Henry. In the end, Blake Sims and the Crimson Tide just couldn’t find the end zone and had to settle for a field goal by Adam Griffith. That would happen if Griffith could make the field goal after an Ole Miss player got a hand on the ball. The score still remains 14-3 Alabama.

 

>Ole Miss to start drive from their own 35 yard line

Scoring Drive- (4 plays, 66 yards, 1:15) Alabama- 14, Ole Miss-10

Dr. Bo and the Rebels finally get a big play after a huge first down by Evan Engram. From there Wallace finds Laquon Treadwell for a 14 yard TD pass. Gary Wunderlich hits the PAT.

Scoring Drive- (7 plays 59 yards, 3:26) Alabama 17 Ole Miss 10

After a first down run by Derrick Henry, Alabama continues to drive down the field. Unfortunately, Alabama is forced to settle for a 42 yard field goal by Adam Griffith due to penalties by Leon Brown and OJ Howard. Alabama now leading by 7

 

>Ole Miss to begin drive from their own 20 yard line

Bo Wallace manages to find a hole on 3rd and 5 to get the Rebels a first down. However, Alabama’s defense manages to stop Ole Miss lead by Reggie Ragland with the Crimson Tide leading going into the 4th quarter.

 

4TH Quarter

 >Alabama will begin drive from their own 15 yard line

Blake Sims and the Crimson Tide continue to show signs of weakness as they struggle to find first downs. Although Yeldon and Cooper find the first down marks for Alabama, the Tide manages to bring the ball to mid-field by running down the clock. At Mid-field, Alabama is stopped and forced to punt towards Ole Miss, they still lead by 7.
