Druid City Arts Festival is a regional celebration of original arts with a focus on music. This multi-genre, week-long festival culminating on Saturday, March 24 is a free, all-day, all-ages festival from 11am to 7pm in Government Plaza in downtown Tuscaloosa, Al. The day-long celebration will be preceded by a week of on campus activities and an evening music crawl on Friday, March 23, 2012. The Friday night music crawl will be held at area bars. The music crawl line up includes, American Freshmen, An Abstract Theory, Black Willis, Bo Latham & DJ Houndstooth, Blank Slate, Belle Mina, Good Morning Lucy, Ham Bagby & The Siege, The Sunshine Factory and The Side of 49. The musical line for Saturday, March 24, 2012 includes, headlining act The Revivalists, Nightfires, Electric Moon, Ben Joseph, Gun Party, Alabama Blues Project, and CBDB!
