Here are the Alabama coaching staff’s selections for Players of the Week after Alabama’s 52-0 win over Arkansas.

Offense

Quarterback AJ McCarron: McCarron led the Crimson Tide to touchdowns on its first two drives and four of its first five. McCarron ended the day with 180 passing yards and three touchdowns on 15-for-21 passing.

Offensive Lineman Austin Shepherd: Shepherd, being named a player of the week for the first time this week, helped the offensive line pave the way for 500 yards of offense for the second week in a row. McCarron was not sacked by the Razorbacks.

Running back Kenyan Drake: Drake amassed 104 and two touchdowns on just eight carries, making for his second-straight 100-yard game. Drake’s 104 yards, 13 yards per carry and long rush of 46 were all second on the team for the game (Derrick Henry led the team in those three categories).

Defense

Safety HaHa Clinton-Dix: In his first game back after his indefinite suspension due to NCA violations, Clinton-Dix got one of two interceptions for the Tide, also adding five tackles.

Safety Landon Collins: Collins, replacing the injured Vinnie Sunseri at strong safety, also notched five tackles against the Razorbacks. Collins also broke up two passes and accounted for a quarterback hurry.

Linebacker C.J. Mosley: Mosley deflected the pass that Clinton-Dix intercepted as well as leading the team with 10 tackles, five of them solo. Mosley’s 58 tackles is ranked 4th in the SEC.

Defensive back Jarrick Williams: Williams, who played both as the nickelback and as a backup safety, was second on the team with six tackles. Williams also accounted for a quarterback hurry.

Special Teams

Dee Hart: Hart added three tackles on the special teams unit, including one inside the 20 on kickoff coverage.

Eddie Jackson: Jackson recovered the fumble Alabama forced on the opening kickoff of the third quarter

DeAndrew White: In addition to forcing a fair catch on Cody Mandell’s only punt of the day (a 51-yarder), White received high praise from the coaches for his blocking on special teams units.
