It has been years since I have seen Rihanna perform and when I heard that she would be performing for the half-time show, I lost my mind. Overall, she gave the audience a performance worth their time. I mean, I can’t believe that a football game was going on during a Rihanna concert.
The star-studded performer turned heads when she was lowered down from a platform in a bright red outfit. Immediately, screams from the crowd began to fill the arena as the opening notes of “B***h Better Have My Money” began to play. Opening with this song gave Rihanna a cool vibe that reminded everyone not to play with her. This is one of her songs that always leaves anyone listening with a new sense of confidence.
I was very happy when she played “Work” because that is my favorite song of hers and it got me dancing around my apartment. Overall, Rihanna’s song choices were excellent. It’s very hard to choose from her brilliant catalogue of music that she has released. The entire show just showcased her fantastic catalogue, and it was just so amazing.
She also sang favorites like “We Found Love”, “Wild Thoughts”, and “Pour it Up”. The dancing and the costumes made the performance even better. And we can’t forget about that amazing pregnancy reveal! Rihanna really is that girl. To add the perfect cherry on top, she closed out her show with “Diamonds”. She was definitely shining bright like a diamond. I will always love this half-time show and will rewatch as many times as I can.
