Tonight is set to be another unforgettable night in music at the 58th annual Grammy Awards. The award ceremony recognizes the top recordings, compositions and artists within the time frame spanning from October 1, 2014, to September 30, 2015. The awards ceremony’s performance schedule is packed with an all-star line up of Grammy Award winners, first time Grammy nominations, tributes to music legends, and tandems of fan favorite artists.
Taylor Swift, nominated seven times tonight and seven-time Grammy Awards winner, will kick off the Grammy Awards ceremony. Kendrick Lamar is also set to hit the stage tonight performing his two hit songs “The Blacker the Berry” and “Alright”. Kendrick Lamar received the most nominations with 11, making him the most nominated rapper in a single night and second in most overall nominations in a single night; Respectively passing Eminem’s ten nominations in 2011 and behind Michael Jackson’s 12 nominations in 1984.
With the wide array of artists performing tonight it is truly the biggest night in music with something for all music lovers. The performances to watch out for are the once in a lifetime tributes to a few of the most iconic men in music that passed away this year: B.B. King, David Bowie, and Glenn Frey.
