90.7 The Capstone announces its spring benefit concert will be this Thursday, February 7, 2011. The Dixie has offered its facilities to house this special event. This years benefit will feature three outstanding acts from around the Tuscaloosa area: Callooh! Callay!, Pinnacle, and D-Block.
Callooh! Callay! is a indie and rock band based out of the Tuscaloosa area. They are currently signed with Hackberry Records. In April of 2010, the band released there first album titled “Sarsaparilla Champagne”. The album is now available on iTunes.
Native to 90.7, D-Block is a regular specialty show DJ. D-Block is host to the Temptation Zone and The Wide World of Hip-Hop on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10pm, respectively. D-Block will be bringing you the “hottest tracks, the fattest beats, and the realist lyrics.”
The cover charge to see these acts is only three dollars and all proceeds go to support 90.7 The Capstone! Be sure to start you weekend out right by joining 90.7 The Capstone for their live event starting at 10pm this Thursday.
