ESPN College GameDay Ready for 2011

ESPN has announced plans for the first three locations for the popular Saturday show, College GameDay Built by The Home Depot, along with additions to the show. Most notably former Georgia All-American David Pollack will join the show as a contributor and each show will contain a feature from the Emmy-award-winning Tom Rinaldi.

The fifth annual Nick’s Kids Luncheon was held Thursday at The Zone at Bryant-Denny Stadium where checks were presented to several local and state charities. Since Nick and Terry Saban arrived in Tuscaloosa in 2007, over $2 million has been distributed to more than 150 charities and organizations throughout the state and surrounding areas.

The University of Alabama football team’s annual Fan Day is set for Sunday, August 7. The team will hold an open practice in Bryant-Denny Stadium from 2:30-4:30 p.m. Players and coaches will be available for autographs immediately after the practice on the field.
