The Alabama Crimson Tide trail the Florida Gators 33-29 at halftime here at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN. Alabama jumped out to an early 17-9 lead fueled by an 11-2 run, but could not sustain it as Florida responded with a run of their own, finishing the half on a 15-6 run. Alabama finished the 1st half missing 7 of their final 8 shots.

The game’s high point man at halftime is Dorian Finney-Smith, who had 12 points. For the Crimson Tide, Rodney Cooper leads all scorers with 11 points. Alabama is 8-18 on FGs (.444%), and 11-13 from the FT line. Florida is 10-24 on FGs (.417%), and 9-13 from the FT line. Florida holds the rebounding advantage, 17-10, over Alabama.

The Crimson Tide have never beaten Florida under Head Coach Anthony Grant, and have lost 10 consecutive game to the Gators. They will look to change their fortunes in the 2nd half.
