Before Alabama head coach Nick Saban’s press conference, Saban and his staff releasaed their Players of the Week for the 31-6 win over Colorado State.

Offense

Wide Receiver DeAndrew White: White caught AJ McCarron’s only touchdown pass, a 30-yard strike that was the only play of a one-play scoring drive. White ended the day with two catches for 65 yards.

Wide Receiver Christion Jones: Jones led the team with both nine catches and 90 yards. No other receiver had more than two receptions. Jones also returned four punts for 26 yards and two kicks for 46 yards.

Defense

Linebacker C.J. Mosley: Mosley led the team with nine tackles, making the fifth-straight game in which he has had seven or more tackles.

Linebacker Trey Depriest: Depriest contributed six tackles, three of them solo. While also forcing a fumble and recovering a fumble against the Rams.

Special Teams

Landon Collins: Collins continues to be a dominant force on special teams, netting four tackles against the Rams, one of them a solo tackle that started a Colorado State drive inside its own 20-yard line.

Altee Tenpenny: The freshmen running back came away with one special teams tackle against the Rams.

Kenyan Drake: Drake was credited with blocking the punt that Dillon Lee picked up and returned for a touchdown.
