According to Fandango, Black Panther has already sold more pre-sale tickets than any other Marvel movie. This includes Batman vs. Superman and Guardians of the Galaxy. The box office predicts that the film could earn more than $120 million over its opening weekend.

This movie has already caused a lot of buzz. Not only does the trailer make the movie seem fantastic, but according to a survey put out by Fandango, ticket buyers are “looking forward to a different kind of superhero movie.” For many, this means seeing a superhero for the first time on the big screen that looks just like them. For others, it may mean seeing a superhero movie filled with nothing but Oscar winners/nominees like: Lupita N’yongo, Michael B. Jordan, Angela Bassett, Daniel Kaluuya, and many more well-accredited actors.

The excitement for this film does not just stop at your average moviegoer. Octavia Spencer, Oscar winner, reportedly plans to buy out a movie theater in Mississippi, to allow kids to watch Black Panther.

February 16 could not get here sooner for most. With the rate that pre-sale tickets are being sold, I would say buy your ticket now, but you just may have to wait until the next weekend.
