The final day of SEC Media Days is upon us. Writers, broadcasters, cameramen and more will depart from Hoover after three more teams take the podium to answer questions before the 2015 season. Day four will feature three teams and coaches that have been known for making the headlines: LSU with head coach Les Miles, Georgia with head coach Mark Richt and Ole Miss with head coach Hugh Freeze. Miles is facing questions once against about his quarterback situation along with added questions about losing defensive coordinator John Chavis. Richt is another coach that is facing uncertainty about his quarterback and just hired a new offensive coordinator in Brian Schottenheimer. Freeze will be asked questions about what happened in their bowl game and if Laquon Treadwell can return to 100 percent after his injury (I think he will). No matter what happens, it should be a full and interesting day at the Wynfrey Hotel.

9:25 – John Theus, Georgia offensive tackle

“They definitely make us better. There’s times when we make a big hole for them and they go for a long run and there’s times when we don’t make a hole for them and they go for a long run.” – On Georgia’s stacked backfield

9:35 – Malcolm Mitchell, Georgia wide receiver

“This is the best I’ve felt in awhile. I’ve had to always deal with injuries. I finally finished a spring which I’ve never done before. I plan on playing in every game this year and making game changing plays. I’m just excited for the season.”

9:45 – Mark Richt, Georgia head coach

“I think our team is one that has worked extremely hard to put themselves into position to compete with the way you have to compete in our league. I’m just ready for fall camp.”

“Grayson (Lambert) has been around a little bit and he’s started a bunch of games. We’re very glad to welcome him into our program and compete for the starting job. He’s very bright young man and I’m happy he’s a part of our program.”

9:55 – Mike Hilton, Ole Miss defensive back

“It stuck around with us for awhile. But we’ve been using it as motivation for us in the spring.” – On blowout loss in Peach Bowl to TCU

“We know what that success tastes like but we’re ready to get to the next step. We want to make it to the SEC Championship and the National Championship.”

10:15 – Evan Engram, Ole Miss tight end

“Last year, we didn’t have a consistent deep threat ball. But(Chad Kelly) has got a real strong arm and he can bring that aspect to the team this season.”

“We are just looking for the guy who can be the most consistent. We’re going to rally around all three of them to have a great camp.” – On the quarterback battle

“I’ve been really focused on just being a spark for the team. I focused on becoming a leader and using my playmaking ability to help the offense and win games.”

10:25 – CJ Johnson, Ole Miss linebacker

“We’re real deep up front and I think that’s the main reason behind the move because we needed more depth at the linebacker position… We have a lot of guys that can do good at the defensive line.” – On his change from the D-line to linebacker

“Each year we are trying to build on what we have done in the past. The past two years we didn’t finish well but we’ve put that emphasis on not only starting fast but finishing good as well.”

10:45 – Kendall Beckwith, LSU linebacker

“Whatever we run, we have great athletes on defense and we’ll be ready for anything.” – On new defensive schemes

“Coach Chavis was always like a father figure. It was strange with him not being there. But him and (Defensive coordinator Kevin) Steele are so similar, they’re basically like brothers. He’s filled the role well.”

10:55 – Leonard Fournette, LSU running back

“Last year, we had a great team. We just weren’t up to par and fell short at the end of the season. We just keep working and I feel good about this season.”

“(Nick Chubb) is hands-down the best running back in the SEC.”

“I’m not focused on the Heisman. At the end of the day, the national championship wins the trophy for the team. That’s my main goal.”

11:15 – Hugh Freeze, Ole Miss head coach

“We’re embracing year four of this journey, with all the expectations that we’ve created. We look forward to the new season and being relevant in the SEC West.”

“Our schedule hasn’t done us a lot of favors with some very difficult road games, Alabama, Auburn, Florida and the Egg Bowl against our rivals.”

11:25 – Jordan Jenkins, Georgia linebacker

“I like to lead by example, first and foremost. I like to get the young guys to not only understand the play but know why we are running the play.”

“It feels like it’s our time. Just because of the way we work out in training. To get where we want to go, we have to start now and really start in January.”

11:45 – Vadal Alexander, LSU offensive tackle

11:55 – Les Miles, LSU head coach

“Brandon Harris has had a great summer and with the competition going to. He’s really making his case.” – On quarterback battle

“I think we’re going to have a very fast defense. We’re going to be tough up the middle. I think our secondary can be as good as we’ve had.”
