Alabama may have looked good on paper this first half, but that’s a whole nother story on the field. Blake Sims may have put up great numbers for the Tide, but Alabama has fumbled the ball three times including one that was returned for a touchdown. Sims, who has 335 yards through the air on todays game also has entered the record books with the 4th longest touchdown in Alabama history. Alabama’s defense has played close to prefect forcing Quarterback Jeff Driskel to the ground 3 times as well and making him throw  1 interception and forcing a fumble. Amari Cooper once again has shined with 7 catches for 175 yards and another touchdown. Still, Saban is not impressed at his team…at all.

“We have to get some continuity on offense. We look like we didn’t even practice.” Saban said.

Jeff Driskel and the Florida Gators showed signs of  great team with a touchdown pass to Valdez Showers in the first. Driskel stands only 53 yards in the first half and only one pass to top receiver Demarcus Robinson. The real story has been on the defense for the Gators. Not only has Florida been able to get into Blake Sims head, but has also gotten into ALL the players head. In the first half Dante Fowler Jr. has caused  2 fumbles and recovered one. Not to mention a scoop and score by Keanu Neal to give Florida the lead for a little while.

This game is still up for grabs at this point. If Alabama continues to struggle with holding onto the ball, this could lead to more drives in Florida’s favor. However, if Florida can’t get more first downs this half, they’re in trouble of letting Alabama run all over them and try to hold on for the win. This looks like a game to the death…STAY TUNED FOR MORE
