Alabama came out of the gates fast and has been able to run all over Florida Atlantic’s defense. Like promised by Nick Saban, both Blake Sims and Jake have played today and has made this quarterback battle even tougher then before. The Alabama defense has also stepped up big, only allowing 6 first downs the entire first half. Star cornerback Eddie Jackson made his return today and has stepped up big with 4 tackles and a forced fumble. Florida Atlantic has yet to find answers for the Crimson Tide. We head into the second half with Alabama starting on defense.
