The Wolf of Wall Street has been nominated for 5 Academy Awards: Best Actor (Leonardo DiCaprio), Best Supporting Actor (Jonah Hill), Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Director (Martin Scorsese) and Best Motion Picture of the Year.

Oscar Chances: As good as The Wolf of Wall Street is, it won’t win any Oscars. Leonardo DiCaprio did Best Actor, Musical or Comedy at the Golden Globes, so he does have an outside shot, but it looks like Best Actor will go to either Chiwetel Ejiofor (12 Years A Slave) or Matthew McConaughey (Dallas Buyers Club). Jared Leto (Dallas Buyers Club) will win Supporting Actor. 12 Years A Slave or Philomena will win Adapted Screenplay. Alfonso Cuaron will win Best Director for Gravity. And either 12 Years A SlaveAmerican Hustle or Gravity will win Best Picture. So, yeah. Nothing.
