Gay Athletes In College Sports: A Conversation with former Penn State Softball Coach Sue Rankin

Sue Rankin is a professor at Penn State University and is a former head college softball coach. She is in Tuscaloosa this week to speak to a few UA classes and events. She was one of the first openly gay college coaches in the United States and has worked with the NCAA on issues relating to diversity. She spoke to Capstone News Now’s Rich Robinson by phone about the latest developments gripping the crossroads of sports and news.
