When WVUA radio created its news division nearly two years ago, one of the main goals was to reach out and cover the stories that matter to people in the community. While we spend a great deal of time and energy on investigative and enterprising reports about matters of great substance and import for those who call Tuscaloosa and West Alabama home, we also find the more mundane events important as well.

On February 8th, the Exchange Club of Tuscaloosa hosted the eighth annual, “Great Tuscaloosa Chili Cookoff” at the Bryant Conference Center. Here’s what we found:
