Noteworthy

– Of the 243 ballots cast, 20 of them did not include South Carolina defensive end Jadeveon Clowney.

– Johnny Manziel, AJ McCarron and Aaron Murray accounted for 238 of 243 quarterback votes. The other five votes are not known.

– Alabama’s T.J. Yeldon and Georgia’s Todd Gurley combined to receive 427 of a possible 486 votes at the running back position (87.8%)

– Only 12 ballots were cast that did not include Alabama linebacker C.J. Mosley.

– Eleven of 14 schools had a player on the 1st Team. The only three left off were Missouri, Kentucky and Auburn.

– Alabama got 92.5 percent of the vote to win the SEC West Division and almost 75 percent of the vote to win the SEC Championship Game.
