Golden Globes

Zero Dark Thirty. Argo. Lincoln. Game Change.

After constant news coverage surrounding the 2012 presidential election, it’s no coincidence why politics took center stage last night at the 70th annual Golden Globe Awards, from former President Bill Clinton presenting Lincoln to surprising wins for Argo, which was awarded Best Picture- Drama and Best Director for Ben Affleck.

Other big wins include Game Change, earning three awards, along with wins for both Daniel Day-Lewis (Lincoln) and Jessica Chastain (Zero Dark Thirty) in the Best Performance by an Actor/Actress in a Motion Picture- Drama category.

And to no surprise, Les Misérables won three awards including Best Motion Picture- Comedy or Musical, Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture- Comedy or Musical (Hugh Jackman) and Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture (Anne Hathaway).
