This show will be a bit of a change from the usual hard knocking rock acts at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater. A Prairie Home Companion first started July 6, 1974 with 12 people in the audience. Today, A Prairie Home Companion is heard by more than 4 million listeners each week on some 590 public radio stations, and abroad on America One and the Armed Forces Networks in Europe and the Far East.
